Shiffli Fabrics & Laces

Shifli refers to a type of embroidered fabric — not a fiber itself, but a base fabric (often cotton, voil, lawn, cambric, or chiffon) that has machine or hand embroidery worked into it. It’s especially popular in South Asian fashion for high-end dresses, kurtas, tunics and ethnic wear.
